Chapatis on Thursday

On Thursday, Anandita's Mum, Divya and Anandita's Grandma, who has just arrived from India, came to make chapatis with us. A Chapati is a thin pancake of unleavened wholemeal bread cooked on a griddle or hotplate. It is a staple food in India.
The children had to roll them out with a rolling pin - then they were cooked. Chapati's are delicious with jam spread on them!

1/4 of these pegs are red, 1/4 are white, 1/4 are green and 1/4 are black. 1/4 of 100 is 25!

1/2 means  one piece out of 2

Davish and Cameron have been subtracting 100's
